M'Agrado is a small home-based food business producing syrups, founded in Castello, a small hamlet of Pietraporzio (CN), at over 1300 meters above sea level. Establishing a new production activity, even a very small one, in a hamlet with only two residents, allows and will allow us to offer leverage for the guarantee and development of services and to give new vital energy to the hamlet itself.
M'agrado was born from Enrica's tenacity, her desire to express herself, and her will to give value back to a land that welcomed her with affection since she was a child, when she used to visit the valley as a tourist.
The goal we have set for ourselves is the gradual development of a craft activity, using products and raw materials characteristic of the Alpi del Mare area, without neglecting a touch of internationality with the hibiscus syrup of South African origin.
"M'agrado" in the Occitan language means "I like it", and this underlines the bond with the territory of the upper Stura Valley of Demonte, which we never miss an opportunity to promote at every event we participate in.
The choice of packaging has focused on the use of easily recyclable materials (glass, paper) and the wool string that ties the identification tag to the bottle is a connecting thread with the world of shepherding and the Sambucana sheep that characterize the Upper Stura Valley.
These are our values, the ideas that guide our choices, the goals we set for every bottle, the passion you will find in every drop of M'agrado syrup!
